Comprehensive Support to Write a Book and Get it Marketed Successfully

Resources

Recently, Amazon.com and Penguin Group (USA) announced the second annual Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award (ABNA), an international competition seeking fresh new writing voices. One Grand Prize winner will receive a full publishing contract with Penguin including a $25,000 advance.

CreateSpace.com will once again host the technology platform for this competition, so we thought you, as a CreateSpace member, might be interested in learning more about when and how to submit an unpublished novel for consideration. Please note, because the contest is for unpublishedfiction manuscripts only, if you have self-published a novel using CreateSpace already, it is not eligible for submission to the contest as it is considered a published work.

The submission process begins on February 2, 2009 and entries will be accepted until February 8, 2009 or until 10,000 entries have been received, whichever comes first. The contest consists of four judging phases by expert reviewers, publishing professionals, and Amazon.com customers. The winner will be announced on May 22, 2009.

Visit www.CreateSpace.com/ABNAto sign up for contest updates and to view the official contest rules, video tutorials and other helpful links related to the 2009 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award. You can also find contest information by logging into your CreateSpace account and visiting the “Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award” link within your “My Account” panel.

Best of luck!
